The annual tradition of "National Night Out" will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dewy Meadow Village Shopping Center. The event is hosted by the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Bernards Township PBA.
Music, food and drinks and an opportunity to meet people and organizations that support the town will be included. Representatives from all of the Bernards Township's emergency services will be available with vehicles and equipment on display as well as demonstrations. The Knights of Columbus of Bernardsville and Basking Ridge will be sponsoring the Child ID program along with the PBA. A family-friendly movie will be shown at 9 p.m.
The Somerset County Food Bank will be in attendence to accept donations of non-refrigerated foods, diapers, baby wipes, bathroom items, etc.
