Sunday Concert, Art Exhibit at Farmstead Arts

Italian music at Farmstead Arts at 2 p.m.

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, the presents an afternoon of melodious Italian music, Festa Italiana featuring Duo Sonoroso, with flutist Michelle Brick and classical guitarist Darren O’Neill of Cranford. The performance is a continuation of the Farmstead Arts Sunday Concert series.

Enjoy the best of two worlds – the music of the early 19th century Europe and the charm of the 18th century farmhouse with works by Francesco Molino, Mauro Giuliani, and Ferdinando Carulli. Seating is limited to 35, so advance tickets are encouraged. Tickets are $20 per person and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased online, or based on availability, may be sold at the door.

This weekend also kicked off "Impressions of Nature Exhibit and Sale,” featuring the photography of Filip Everaert in show scheduled for May 5 to June 16.

Everaert’s photography is exceptional for its color and rich textures, capturing the essence of the beauty of nature. He prints his original fine art photography in his studio, using state of the art equipment and archival inks on top quality canvas. Each piece is signed and can be customized to fit your needs. The artist grew up in Europe with a love for things both technical and artistic. Now living in Basking Ridge, Everaert has intertwined these passions by creating photographic stories through the use of digital photography.

Gallery hours are weekends from 1 to 4 p.m. and admission is free. There are no gallery hours on Sunday, May 6, Sunday, May 13, Saturday, May 19, or the weekend of May 26-27.
