Charter Day Schedule

Charter Day is tomorrow, Saturday, May 15.

The biggest day of Bernards' 250th anniversary celebration is finally here, Charter Day starts tomorrow at 11 a.m.

Charter Day commemorates the official beginning of the township will include a street fair and a host of other entertainment options, lasting deep into the night and offering something for everyone.

The following is a tentative schedule, subject to change. Patch will post updates if any are received.

  • Street Fair is open 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Opening ceremonies on the Main Stage – 12 p.m.

Entertainment on the Main Stage

  • 12:20 p.m. – 4 p.m., community groups
  • 4:15 p.m. - 2009 Battle of the Bands winner
  • 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Evening Concert, Fortune
  • Battle of the Bands, Henry Street Stage, 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Amusements & Food on the Oak Street Field – 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Food on Finley Avenue 11 a.m.– 10 p.m.
  • Westminster Hall – Student Art Show & 250th Anniversary Exhibits, open 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Brick Academy – Historic Exhibits, open 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Guided Cemetery Tours – Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church – 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
