NJ High School Students Ponder Next Big Thing in Wireless
AT&T second annual Innovation competition in Bedminster for NJ students
Approximately 50 high school students from John E John E Dwyer Technology Academy in Elizabeth, North Brunswick township high school and Jack and Jill Teen group of Mercer County recently participated in AT&T’s second annual Innovation competition in Bedminster.
The competition focused on new products designed by the students. The winner, Sheriel Henry from Jack and Jill Teen Group of Mercer County, was selected for a new product called iPAC that provided packing and aides for conference travel. She received a new smartphone from AT&T.
Other ideas from students included a BlueTooth Shark as a wireless charging system; e-Lens, an electronic lens to shows data on lens; Where R U app to help find lost wireless phones; Fall Safety App that uses your phone to detect if you have fallen and automatically sends help, Finger/Voice Lock to lock and unlock your cell phone using fingerprint and voice recognition and Auto Bin, a trash can that takes itself to the curb, controlled by a wireless device.
