Potluck Supper & "What in the World is That?" – Round 2
Our September meeting highlights all of our AAUW activities, from the book sale results, to a report from the student leadership conference, to upcoming branch activities. It's the perfect opportunity to introduce new and prospective members to AAUW.
We will begin by sharing a member-provided potluck supper.
Because it proved quite entertaining a couple years ago, after supper and the various reports and announcements, we will play round two of "What in the World is That?" Maybe you've picked up something odd in your travels? (Hopefully, not a disease.) Or, maybe you've come across something ancient and mysterious while cleaning out a closet, basement, garage, or attic? (Notice I didn't say refrigerator!) Bring your oddity (and your curiosity) to our first branch meeting of the season and try to stump the audience. Or, if you don't know what it is you've got, maybe someone else will.
