Basking Ridge Man Charged With Giving False Name

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bridgewater Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Basking Ridge resident was arrested June 1 after he gave a false name when he was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 West at 9:17 p.m., Bridgewater Township police said.

Michael Liccardi, 23, was charged with hindering apprehension after he was pulled over and gave his brother's name to police, according to a Bridgewater police report.

Police said he provided a false name because he knew he had a no-bail warrant issued from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.

Liccardi was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
