Lyons Road Could be Closed Again for Water Main Installation
Road was closed Monday, and reopened by late afternoon.
Lyons Road south of Mount Airy Road, heading toward Liberty Corner, was closed Monday afternoon before reopening in the late afternoon, police said. However, the road could be closed again later in the week, police said.
A water main upgrade and installation being performed by New Jersey American Water Company, said Bernards Police Lt. Ted Reese.
The road was reopened prior to 5 p.m. on Monday, police said. It could be closed again through the end of the week, said Police Lt. Ed Reese.
