Liberty Corner Fire Chief Peter Aprahamian said the fire truck was involved in a mutual aid drill in the township involving multiple firefighting organizations. The Pottersville truck received a report of a brush fire in Bedminster Township, where the company is based.

The truck had turned onto Allen Road and was heading up the hill, Aprahamian said. He said that no other vehicles were involved.
