Teen Jogger from Bedminster Hit By Car in Bernards Twp.
Township police said jogger was struck on section of Mine Brook Road within Bernards Township on Sat. evening.
said that a driver and jogger along a section of Mine Brook Road apparently crossed signals on Saturday evening, when both believed the other would wait. The jogger was struck by the car, and suffered a leg and hip injury, according to township police.
The accident occurred at 6:18 p.m. on Saturday, police said.
Police said no ticket was issued to the driver, Michael Perris of New York. The teen was transported to the hospital by the Liberty Corner First Aid Squad, according to the police report.
