Township Police Car in Accident
No serious injuries reported in Tuesday afternoon crash on Mount Airy Road.
The collision of a police car and another vehicle on Mount Airy Road on Tuesday afternoon remains under investigation, with no summons issued as of about 3 p.m., township police reported.
The accident occurred between about 1 to 1:30 p.m., said Lt. Michael Voorhees.
No major injuries were reported, Voorhees said. He said the officer was not taken to the hospital, but he didn't know whether another person was hospitalized.
The accident was reportedly near Laurel Court. No names were available.
