Chabad of Greater Somerset Celebrated by N.J. Attorney General

New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa joined Chabad of Greater Somerset last week in celebrating its 21st anniversary during an annual gala dinner.

Chiesa was among several prominent law enforcement officials that gathered at the Grand Summit Hotel in Summit on May 23. The attorney general and Steven G. Kraus, Esq. were honored for their leadership and community contributions during the event.

Television personality Rita Cosby kicked off the evening with her own personal insights, according to The Messenger-Gazette.

The Chabad center covers Somerset, Union and Hunterdon Counties, with satellite facilities serving each individual community. What began in a small Basking Ridge apartment in 1992 has now evolved to include synagogues, Hebrew schools and centers for continuing adult education in Jewish religion and culture.
