A full text of Mayor Scott Spitzer's 2010 address has been posted on the Bernards Township website.
The mayor thanked the many people who have supported Bernards Township and his career in public service, and also focused on six new initiatives for the upcoming year.
Among the new programs announced were the mayor's wellness campaign, "brown bag lunches," and a Township beautification committee, as well as a focus on keeping taxes low, supporting energy efficiency and green technology and improving the emergency management system of the town.
