Ensuring a Spot for All

The Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services (OoADS) is launching a handicapped parking education initiative to raise awareness of the difficulties, and even dangers, that people in wheelchairs, on crutches or using walkers experience when crossing busy parking lots.

A presentation hosted by Disabilities Coordinator Mark Malone will be held from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the center. How to educate adults age 60 and above about the importance of following handicapped parking regulations and to enlist their help in educating others will be discussed.

For more information or to register, contact Disability Services Coordinator Mark Malone, Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services, at (908) 704-6346.
