Harlem Wizards to Take On Oak Street Team at Fundraiser

Oak Street School staff and parents will take on professional basketball players at PTO fundraiser.

The world-famous Harlem Wizards basketball team will take on the Oak Street Eagles team — consisting of Oak Street Elementary School staff and parents — at a fundraiser for the Oak Street School Parent-Teacher Organization.

The event is sponsored by the PTO, and proceeds will help fund PTO programs.

The game is open to anyone from the public.

Tickets in advance are $12 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased online at the Harlem Wizards website. If available, all tickets on the day of the event will be $15 at the door.

The Wizards, who have played in Bernards schools and others nearby for to raise funds for school organizations, mix comedy along with professional basketball moves out on the court.

The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, at on South Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge. Doors open at 12:15 p.m.
