The Ridge High School Girls Field Hockey Team hosted a scrimmage with Columbia High School; season opener on Friday at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.

The Ridge Girls Field Hockey Team, which this Friday afternoon will open its season at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School, struggled hard last Friday in a scrimmage with "guests" from Columbia High School. The scrimmage was played at Ridge's Lee Field in a regular season style with referees, but did not count against the season record.

"We are getting there," said Varsity Head Coach Kim Clark during the scrimmage with Columbia, from Maplewood.  "I am glad we have another week before the season starts."

The Ridge Field Hockey Team starts the season  with a game at 3:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School, 600 Garretson Road, Bridgewater.
