Hershberger, Ku Lead Golf Team to Tournament of Champions
In the program's third year, duo leads Red Devils to undefeated season, spot among state's elite.
The Ridge High School girls in just the program's third year.
And the good news is that the girls who led the team through its undefeated season aren't even seniors. But Alexandra Hershberger, a junior, and sophomore Hana Ku, each have become a force to be reckoned with on the golf course.
The two have been trading back and forth for first and third place in each of this year's tournaments.

Meanwhile, the team consisting of Hershberger, Ku, Catherine Donlon, Rachel Walsh and Amber Evans, already have won the Somerset County Championship, the Skylands Conference Championship and the NJSIAA/MGA Section 1 Championship.
They led the undefeated Ridge Red Devils golf team into facing the winners of the Section 2 championship at the Tournament of Champions scheduled for Wednesday at Bamm Hollow Golf Club in Lincroft.

Ku shot par in the county and conference championships. Hershberger placed first at the NJSIAA/MGA Section 1 championship. She fired a 5-over-par in that tournament, played at Stanton Ridge Golf Course during a windy, rain-soaked match.
