Ridge Ski Teams Continue in No. 1 & 2 Spots

Note: The following Ridge High School ski team results are submitted by a parent.

The Ridge varsity boys ski placed first, and varsity girls second, in an Independence League race on Feb. 14 at Hidden Valley ski area that included varsity, junior varsity and X men skiers.

Varsity Girls — Kapp(5), Halbing(6), Taylor(9),  Smith(10), Bondy(11), Lailey(12)

Varsity Boys — Colbertaldo(1), Thompson(2), Taylor(7),  McWilliams(14), Hughes(21)

Junior Varsity girls and boys teams both placed first in the race.

JV Girls —Bellai(1), McCarthy(2), Huber(3), Hughes(4), Englesman(5)

JV Boys — McGeough(1),  Conti(2), Bondy(3), Depalma(7)

X Men — Rupert(1), Ishii(2), Wilkes(3), Mallia(4), Rupert(5), Lazo(6), Nemetz(7)

Feb. 17 race

In a dual slalom race on Friday, with all leagues racing, the Ridge boys and girls teams both placed second. For the second time in a week, Colbertaldo had two first place finishes.

Girls —Bondy (14), Smith (15), Lailey (18), Halbing (20)

Boys — Colbertaldo(1), McGeough(8), Thompson(10), McWilliams(15), Taylor(19), Hughes (27)
