Winter Choral Concert at Ridge on Tuesday Night

Annual event said to attract many alumni from Ridge High School.

The Music Department is scheduled to present its Winter Choral Concert at 7 p.m. this Tuesday in the Ridge High School Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

The seasonal concert, a popular event that spokesman Don Grossmann said attracts many alumni each year, will be presented under the direction of Barbara Retzko.

The Ridge Chorale will perform selections from Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carolsm accompanied by Dr. Elaine Christy on Harp.

The A Cappella Choir Honors will perform a portion of their December caroling repertoire.

The Voices of Ridge, Ridgemen and the Concert Choir also will perform.

The concert will conclude with the annual alumni performance of O Holy Night, featuring senior soloist Nick Siccone and the Grand Finale of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, accompanied by the Ridge High School Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jennifer Curran.
