Basking Ridge: Girls Traveling Softball Back For It's Third Year

Ridge Youth Sports, Inc. (RYSI) is bringing a third year of FALL Travel softball for interested girls.

Teams to be formed:


  • 8U (born in 2006 or 2007)
  • 10U (born in 2004 or 2005)
  • 12U (born in 2002 or 2003)
  • 14U (born in 2000 or 2001)

League Play:

  • Long Hill League (1 game per week - 8 regular season games)
  • -8U - Saturdays after 3PM
  • -10U/12U - Saturdays
  • -14U - Friday evening/Saturday


  • Cranford League (2 games per week - 10 regular season games)
  • -12U - Thursday/Saturday
  • -14U - Sunday (doubleheader)Season: September 7 – October 27 (including playoffs)
  • One to two practices per week (coach determined)

  • Who is eligible to Play:

    • Any Basking Ridge resident
    • See age requirements above


    Who should Play:


    • Anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of softball
    • Anyone interested in playing Spring or Summer Travel Softball.  It is highly recommended to play in the Fall league to get a flavor of Travel softball

    Cost to Play:

    • $150 per player includes league fees, and field costs (note: does not include costs for player equipment – such as gloves, sliding pads, face guards, uniform etc.)
    • $125 per player for 8U team only (uniforms included)

    • Must register to play in Fall league – “Early Bird” registration ENDS August 3rd ;$75 late fee applies after that date
