The Ridge Red Devils came out strong outscoring Montgomery 32-9 in the first half. “Our kids came out ready to play: on fire and focused,” said Ridge head coach Brian Feath. “We were firing on all cylinders right from the get-go.”

The Cougars showed their tenacity and tried to make it a game pressing the Devils and putting up 33 points in the second half. “We knew they would make some kind of run: it is high school basketball, they have a good team,” said Feath. “Nothing is going to be handed to us at this point.  Everyone is going to give us their best shot.”

Ridge’s scoring was led by seniors Matt Garrity (14 points) Eric Klacik (11 points) and Hugh Morris (10 points).
