Photo Gallery: Families Enjoy an Evening of Thrills at First Annual Base Camp International
Chris Clark of Summit provided the stunts and a host of international riders brought the main show, a fast-paced cycling race through downtown Basking Ridge.
Heading into Memorial Day weekend with summer weather in the air, Bernards was bustling with outdoor fun courtesy of the Base Camp International bike race and side show on Wednesday night.
A recap of the race including video and interviews with the top finishers can be found here. In addition to the main event, stunt rider Chris Clark of Summit performed bike tricks on East Oak St. and the Alphorns, a group of local musicians entertained the crowds, playing extra long wooden horns.
Crowds of residents lined the 1.1 mile course, with the stretch along S. Finley Ave packed with people along the course barriers.
