Ridge Girls Lacrosse Wins Over Hillsborough to Open Season

High scoring game for both teams ultimately goes to Ridge.

Both teams tallied high scores for lacrosse, but the Ridge High School Red Devils girls lacrosse team managed to hold on to their lead to finish up their season opener game with a 17-14 victory over the Hillsborough Raiders.

The game was played at Ridge on Tuesday afternoon. Hillsborough may have scored the final goal in the contest, but the Ridge girls ended up with a first-day record of 1-0.

"They showed a lot of heart," Ridge Head Coach Laurie Anthony said following the game.
