Ridge LAX Teams in County Final, State Playoffs
Boys Somerset County tournament championship on Thursday, girls begin state playoffs.
The action really heats up on Thursday and Friday for both boys and girls Red Devils lacrosse teams, with the boys set to face Somerville for the final game in the Somerset County Tournament at 7 p.m. Thursday at Ridge High School.
The boys defeated Rutgers Prep in last weekend's semifinal game to get a chance at becoming the champs in the Somerset County Tournament.
The Ridge girls lacrosse team already gained in a spirited contest held in Bridgewater.

First round of state playoffs on Thursday and Friday
Before the boys hit Lee Field at Ridge on Thursday evening, the girls take on East Brunswick in the first round of the state playoffs in a game scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
The boys team enters the first round of its state playoff schedule with a 2 p.m. game against West Orange at Ridge.
