250 Bags of Heroin Found in Car during Traffic Stop, Affidavit Says

An Irvington man was allegedly found with 250 bags of heroin and two bags of marijuana in his trunk during a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 78 Sunday evening in Bernards Township, according to an arrest affidavit on file with the Somerset County Court.

Former Bernards Library Director Returns — for Now — to Bernardsville Library

Basking Ridge resident Anne Meany, who retired from the Bernards Township Library at the end of 2011, is pitching in as interim director of Bernardsville Library while a permanent replacement is being sought for Karen Brodsky. Brodsky left at the end of August to become director of the Library of the Chathams.
