Scope of Search Widens for Missing Long Hill Man Who is Wall St. Journal Reporter

With David Bird, 55, of neighboring Long Hill Township missing for almost a week, law enforcement agencies widened their scope in the search, and big media picked up on the disappearance of one of their own. Earlier in the week, divers and helicopters searched the area, including the Pond Hill Road area of Basking Ridge, and Long Hill police said they had no idea of how Bird had vanished,or why.

Mosque Public Hearing to Be Continued Into Both February and March

With only one more witness to go for the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge in the groups effort to gain Planning Board approval for a mosque in Liberty Corner, here's an end in sight. But not for at least a few more months.
