Thursday Sun, Friday Showers, Nice Weekend Ahead

Hello everyone. Hope you're all enjoying spring because it's here to stay...at least for now! Temps will reach the mid 60's today with clear skies and light winds. Showers move in tomorrow night and into the early part of Saturday. I don't expect too much in the way of precipitation however a general 1/4"-1/2" of rain is probable.

Saturday should clear out in the afternoon with temps again in the 60's all around the state. Sunday will be the best day over the next week or so with partly cloudy conditions and temps reaching into the 70's! An early summer treat if you will. Those conditions last into Monday when a strong cold front approaches our area.

Look for rain to start Monday night and last through Tuesday. Rain and thunderstorms will be abundant around the area with a good chance of over 2" of rain for most locations. We cool down significantly approaching mid to late next week but temps should moderate back into the 50's and 60's.
